I farm at Sutton Park with my wife and family.
From school I went on to study agriculture at Harper Adams University, and following on from there, I had a brief time travelling and working in Australia, then returning home to the farm and becoming a partner in the business.
My Tenbury Show CV started at the age of 7 with litter picking at the Palmers Meadow, a very important Sunday clearing up job. I then progressed on to car park attendant in subsequent years until my father passed away when I had a huge promotion to ‘Showground Director’, very big boots to fill.
I am also lucky enough to sit on the panel for the ‘Michael Morgan Scholarship’, set up in my father’s name, this award is given to an agricultural student going onto further their career at college or university.
I always feel honoured and proud of my role within the Society and I hope my children will too.
